When Claudia designed the first Maison Theo mat, one of the first decisions was where it would be made. The answer was immediate: in Barcelona. Not because it was the cheapest option, but because it was the only option consistent with what we wanted to do.

When you manufacture 10,000 km away, quality control is an audit. When you manufacture 30 km from home, quality control is a visit. We visit the workshop. We see how each piece is sewn, filled and finished.
